ABOUT THE PODCAST

It took a pandemic to bring sisters, Jennifer Weiss, MD and Leah Weiss, PhD, together to bring this podcast to you. Grand Rounds gathers thought leaders in the COVID era, exploring purpose and resilience in the pandemic.  The term “Grand Rounds” describes a cornerstone meeting among physicians and the medical team to promote lifelong learning. We bring this feeling outside of the hospital and medicine to encompass our larger space and community. We have the chance to glimpse behind the curtain with leaders of our society. How do they harness their purpose, what are their rituals, how are they making sense of the hot mess that we call 2020.
