Hi, I’m Leah Weiss

Stanford lecturer, author, therapist, and mom of three.

I offer therapy and executive coaching that cuts through the noise. For 25+ years, I’ve pushed CEOs, students, and everyone in between past their comfort zones. I don’t do endless processing—I help you see your blind spots and act on what matters most.

What I Do

Teaching: I created Stanford’s perennially waitlisted “Leading with Mindfulness and Compassion” course—where MBAs learn to lead without losing their humanity.

Speaking & Training: I work with entire organizations and leadership teams at companies like Google, NASA, and NATO through executive education, keynotes, and training programs to cut through corporate BS and create cultures that attract and keep the best people—because they actually want to be there.

Therapy/Coaching: I work with successful leaders ready for their next chapter—building on what they’ve accomplished while creating lives that reflect who they’re becoming, not just who they’ve been.

Writing: My book “How We Work” reaches readers in 10 languages, and my new Substack “The Midlife Curriculum” has over 12,000 subscribers tackling the real questions of midlife beyond hormones and hot flashes.

My Approach

Whether I’m teaching Stanford MBAs, challenging leadership teams, or sitting across from a client, I cut to what matters: How do you stop performing your life and start living it? I don’t believe in endless self-analysis or bandaids. I believe in seeing clearly, acting decisively, and building the skills to handle whatever comes next.
